Methods of installing stoneware tiles
On the lawn
Installation of tiles on grass and gravel
This is one of the simplest and fastest methods of laying stoneware tiles. We start our work by arranging the tiles in their intended place. Then we mark the outline of the tile with a spade and remove the top layer of grass to a depth of approx. 8 cm.
On the prepared surface, we pour fine aggregate, which will allow us to stabilize the surface. Remember to leave an appropriate space for the tile.
On glue
Installation of panels on adhesive mortar
Installation of panels on glue is ideal in places with heavy loads and heavy pedestrian traffic, i.e. in public places. They are also perfect for home terraces, if we have already made a concrete screed.
When laying panels on glue, remember to use a waterproofing layer and maintain an appropriate slope (min. 1.5%).
On supports
Installation of slabs using ventilated terrace technology
This method allows you to make a terrace in one day. To make a so-called ventilated terrace, you must first clean the surface on which you will lay the slabs. We start the installation of the terrace from the corner, where we place supports, on which we will ultimately lay the slabs.
One of the advantages of a terrace made in this way is the possibility of placing any electrical, water, etc. installation that will be located under the slabs.
On the substructure
Installation on a drainage subgrade
Another method of laying slabs that guarantees us the execution of an investment with excellent resistance to loads and stresses is installation on a drainage subgrade.
It ensures permanent installation, making the product ideal for both private and public investments.
